Finished Mistaken Identity (biography and autobiography of the college girls in an accident who were misidentified.)
Category could be One Day Wonder or some other non-fiction category that I have yet to designate.
Still working through Swallows and Amazons with the boys at night, but we’ve hit a rut and haven’t read for about a week now. Josh has been playing guitar for them or it’s staying light out so late that they play until 8:30 or 9 and it’s too late to read.
We were leaving Rite Aid when Caleb said, “Look at my chapstick!” Josh and I looked at each other like, “uh oh, we’re going to have to go back and pay for it.”
So we asked, “where did you get it?”
Bob: “In the bushes”
Us: “Where in the bushes?”
Bob: “Next to the store where we went to get food.”
Us: Did you put any on?
Bob: (proudly) “Yep, I just did!”
Ugh.
I looked at it and saw that it expired in Oct of 07, so he certainly didn’t get it from the store. Ew!
Finished (and watched!) Anne of Green Gables, now we’re reading through Swallows and Amazons. I ordered the next book in the Strictest school in the World series, so that will be our next read.
I read Stranger at the Gate by Mel White. It was a good read, well written, but also sad at times. No books in the que for me at the moment. Too busy with quilting and the kids school projects.
