I don’t know how
my sweet little girl can blow out of the front and the back and the legs of her diaper at the same time every time she poops. Where’s my little baby who made fluttering chirpy noises as she slept, sounding like a newly hatched baby chick? She’s turned into an Amazon girl who needs an outfit change every time she poops.
So I’m trying to get Camille to take her first good nap in 2 days (since she got her shots) and Caleb keeps wandering into the room asking, “What can I do?” So I reply in desperation, “Whatever you want. I’ll be down in 5 minutes.”
So the next thing I hear is Bob, in a very bossy voice, saying to Calvin (who is working on his math assignment), “Calvin, you have to get off the computer. Mom said!”
Um, kicking your brother off the computer in the middle of school so you can play webkins . . . not exactly what I meant.
the gospel according to bob
During our Bible study time yesterday I was reviewing the story of Jesus’ first miracle to see if Caleb remembered the important details:
Me: So what happened at the wedding?
Bob: I don’t know.
Me: Remember, they were drinking something . . .
Bob: Oh, yeah. Wine. They ran out of wine.
Me: And what did Jesus do?
Bob: Leave.
Cue Calvin, Carter and me laughing until we cried at the picture of Jesus leaving a party because there was no more wine to drink.
