And two days ago this was the announcement in the newspaper:
Eating and drinking exposed. Everything is now in the open.
In true Abu Dhabi fashion, one moment the curtains were closed and the next moment the government went around telling businesses to open them. At 1:30 in the afternoon is when they were on a mission — taking everyone by surprise. No one was really sure what to believe until the article appeared in the paper the next day to confirm the rumors.
I’d have a lot more to say, but we are on our way to the airport for a family vacation in Thailand. Hopefully I can post from my phone since I’m leaving my computer at home. Time with friends, family, books and relaxing.
