Lord, this month I pray for health and healing. For almost a year and a 1/2 our world has been focused on sickness and fear. Please bring healing to our world from all strains of covid and replace the fear that has ruled people’s minds with peace. Please heal those who are sick from illnesses other than Covid and I specifically pray for miraculous healing for Nerine. Please give her a long life in spite of the doctors declaration that she is terminal. I pray that her young daughter would grow up with a mother that knows and loves you and guides her along the same path. I thank you for your severe mercy in allowing cancer to lead her family into knowledge of you and that no matter what happens on earth, her future and eternity with you is secure.
I pray for the decisions that are being made in UAE and Abu Dhabi regarding reopening and Expo2020(1). I ask that you would give wisdom to those in charge of our borders and tourism and that they would act in the best interest of all. I pray for the majority of the country who is living here separated from their families. That whatever policies are put in place would allow those living here to be reunited with family. I pray for many countries to join the green list so that visits can happen without quarantine upon return.
I pray for the implementation of the new Green Pass system that uses vaccination status to allow or restrict access to places or events. I pray that it is not necessary and that it becomes obsolete before it even begins. Lord, please let the new vaccination program in Abu Dhabi be so successful and the replacement vaccine so effective that covid is no longer a worry locally. I praise you that AD has reversed its decision to only allow one vaccine option and pray that this change will be followed by a reduction in cases, a reduction in testing (I’m up to almost 30 and Josh has 40), and an increase in freedom.
I pray for those places around the world who don’t have access to medical supplies, to vaccines, or to proper medical care for all illnesses, not just Covid. Please heal those who are sick and dying, both of physical and spiritual sickness. I pray for the day when all our bodies are transformed and no longer vulnerable to sickness or sin. Come quickly Lord. Amen.
